Yes. Our bags are made from a sustainable base material with a cactus leather (Desserto®) surface. They contain no animal components whatsoever.

Compared to animal leather, cactus leather requires up to 99% less water and approximately 95% less CO₂.

Clean your bag exclusively with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Then remove any soap residue with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use any other cleaning agents or waterproof the bag – the surface is already treated to be water-repellent. Further tips can be found in our care instructions.

Store your bag in the provided dust bag, upright in a dry, cool place. To maintain its shape, you may use the included stuffing material. Please avoid direct sunlight or heat.

No. Our bags are treated to be water-repellent and reliably protect against moisture in everyday use – however, not in heavy rain or if submerged in water.

We grant a two-year warranty from the date of purchase on all vlà bags and backpacks – covering material and manufacturing defects with proper use and adherence to our care instructions.
